The National Awards for Excellence are administered and awarded by the Egyptian Industrial Modernization Centre and the March 2008 ceremony was organized by Global Trade Matters. The Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry announces the continuity of its three National Awards for Excellence, after the success of its first two cycles. The Awards are designed to honor the Egyptian industrial enterprises that hold Quality, Export and Innovation as their prime concern. The Awards bear high value due to the fact that, in their blueprints and assessment methodology, they model their contemporary internationally recognized awards in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and other developed countries
